Gaiwan Method
If you prefer, you may also use the gaiwan method, the oldest method for brewing tea, instead of the kung-fu method to make tea.
Gaiwan is a cup with a top lid. The lid can be used as tool to remove the foam on the liquor surface or as a sieve to keep the leaves away from the drinking or pouring edge.
This method is suitable for drinking tea alone as well as sharing with a group of people using a pitcher and small cups.
